Three Jewish boys living in a foreign land risked their lives to remain faithful to God. Even though King Nebuchadnezzar commanded everyone to worship him, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to worship anyone other than the one and only, true God. Their faith almost cost them their lives as they were thrown into the fiery furnace. But even in the worst of circumstances, they were not alone. God was with them. When we boldly proclaim our faith like these three, we can expect push back and consequences. But we can rest assured that God will not leave us or forsake us. He will be in the fire with us. To see God do a miracle in our life, sometimes we have to get out of the frying pan and get into the fire.
